Pasta, pasta, pasta, the food with so many different meal options. With all the different great tasting pasta infused meals out there, which one is your favorite? Well, baked ziti, tops my list. I simply cant resist the combination of flavorful ingredients, it just gets my taste buds watering.
With noodles smothered in a zesty marinara sauce, the juicy ground beef, and a topping of melted, stringy, mozzarella cheese, it just cant get any better than that. Well, that’s not true, because it can get better.
It can actually get much better. How can we do so? By turning your traditional baked ziti, into ‘Extremely Baked’ Ziti, the ziti that will actually get YOU BAKED.
Plus, it is very easy to make because it only takes one extra special ingredient, your favorite weed. What a difference one ingredient can make, huh? But enough with that, lets get started, because I have the munchies.
How to Make ‘Extremely Baked’ Ziti
Amount of Time to Prepare: 30-40 minutes
Items Needed :
- Baking tray about 3 inches thick (casserole tray)
- Boiling pot with lid (for marijuana sauce)
- Boiling pot (for ziti)
- Your choice of ziti, marijuana sauce (homemade or store bought)
- 1 pound of shredded mozzarella cheese
- Ricotta cheese (optional)
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- A tablespoon of Italian seasoning (or seasoning of your choice)
- ¾ cups of your choice of grinded weed or 3 tablespoons of “THC” Butter/Oil.
This recipe is almost exactly the same, as the one for conventional baked ziti, so most of these directions you should already know.
To start, take pot and fill with water, add tablespoon of vegetable oil, and place under high heat (use enough water to cover the amount of ziti you are using). The next step will include the form of marijuana you are going to use (grinded or pre-made “THC” Butter/Oil), so make sure you have special ingredient readily available (This is one of the recipes that I actually like using grinded marijuana of my THC Butter).
Take your boiling pot with lid, place it under medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, a tablespoon of Italian seasoning, 1/4 cup of your grinded bud or 1 tablespoons of THC butter, and the pound of ground beef (I would recommend tearing small pieces off of the larger piece of ground beef and add it that way), and cover.
Allow to simmer until ground beef is fully cooked, stirring it occasionally (this will ensure the season will mix with as much of the beef as possible). Getting back to pot with water, add ziti once water starts boiling, stirring it occasionally until pasta is cooked.
By this time, the ground beef should almost be full cooked, so its time to add your marinara sauce and the other ½ a cup of your grinded weed or 2 tablespoons of THC butter, and stir until all ingredients are evenly mixed together.
Cover and allow to simmer for about 15 – 20 minutes. The ziti should be cooked at this time, so drain water, and add to baking tray (casserole tray). Now that we are almost done, pre-heat oven to 450 degrees, and take your special meat sauce (you can add some riccotta cheese to the mix if you wish) ,and mix in baking tray with ziti (try to mix as evenly as possible.
Take the pound of mozzarella cheese and cover the ziti/meat sauce mix completely, allow to bake for about 10 minutes (or until cheese is melted to your liking, and serve.
Note: If you do not have pre-made “THC” Butter/Oil and are going to continue to make some marijuana induced recipes, I would definitely look into making a batch. Not only are there so many more recipe options, it will help cut down preparation and cooking times, and most importantly it tends to be more potent. Click here for more marijuana recepies.
