Walmart Detox Shampoos: Are They Any Good?

Walmart Detox Shampoos: Are They Any Good?

I guess I have to come back to this again because I get loads of questions on Facebook, and email, and even from friends, all asking me about Walmart and its detox products. It’s not always about drug detox shampoos, but in this instance, I’m going to address people asking if you can get detox shampoo for a drug test at Walmart.

I’ve had the same questions asked about synthetic urine and detox drinks. The bottom line on those is that Walmart does not sell synthetic urine, and they only sometimes sell one decent detox drink, the rest is crap.

But in terms of this post, I’m going to talk about the Holy Grail, which is finding something that will get you through a hair drug test. It’s the toughest test to pass if you are a smoker or user, and there are only certain things you can use.

But can you even get hair detox products at Walmart?

Why Do People Get Detox Products At Walmart?

People tend to think that everything is available at Walmart, and because it’s a big company then what they sell will be good quality. Unfortunately, that’s not the truth.

In fact, the opposite is true. Walmart’s and GNC‘s range of detox drinks is appalling. They also don’t sell fake urine at all, and importantly Walmart detox shampoo products are mostly pointless.

I think there’s also the aversion to risk to take into account. Because it’s Walmart, people know their money is safe. Unless they do a bit of research, then they are reluctant to chuck money products for sale on niche drug test sites.

Which is why writing posts like this is important. Educating people to make sure that they realize that getting detox shampoo for a drug test from Walmart is not the best strategy is vital to stop people failing drug tests wasting money.

What Detox Shampoo For A Drug Test Can You Get At Walmart?

Don’t get me wrong, you can get a range of drug test shampoos from Walmart. The problem is will they actually get you through a hair follicle drug test? Can they clean your hair and enough to get rid of the toxins that will be picked up by a lab drug test?

Well the good news is that there are a range of detox shampoos available at Walmart. The bad news is that most of them are absolute rubbish. The bottom line here is that someone is selling a bottle of shampoo for less than $20 and claiming it will clean your hair of drug toxins, then they are talking rubbish.

But that’s not the whole story. You can potentially buy a product of Walmart which will help you get through a hair drug test. But it’s important to look at the other detox shampoos as well, you can understand why you need to make the right decision.

So let’s look at the five detox shampoos you can get at Walmart, and explain exactly why they made, or may not work.

My Review Of Walmart’s Detox Shampoos

  1. Zydot Ultra Clean

This is the best detox shampoo you can buy Walmart. I’ve done a detailed review of Zydot Ultra Clean.

It’s a decent product and importantly it’s an essential element of both the Macujo and Jerry G hair cleaning methods. Talk a bit more about these and moment.

What’s important to remember is that this product, the same as any cleaning shampoo, is just not going to rid your hair of toxins on its own. This is the vital point to remember, even a high quality product that cost a decent sum of money like Zydot, and has a great reputation, will not do the job on its own.

  1. Test Pass Shampoo

I have already reviewed this detox shampoo as well. You can read that review by clicking here. It’s cheap and that should tell you everything you need to know. Good quality detox shampoos are expensive.

A lot of people must be buying Test Pass because of the price, but they are just taking a stupid and lazy risk. It’s really no good at all.

It has loads of one-star reviews on Amazon. And if you look at it on Walmart has poor reviews there as well. So I just cannot understand why somebody would buy this rubbish and expect it to outmaneuver a professional lab test.

  1. STAT Hair Cleaning Kit

One of my best friends failed a drug test after using this crap 3 years ago. I wish I had known he was going to buy it from Walmart and use it as I could have helped him to avoid that misery.

The product itself states it is only a temporary masking product. Its effectiveness is reputedly just 24 hours. I don’t think even that is true, and everything of heard is that the STAT hair cleaning Kit won’t work for one minute.

The people who make it claim it has been scientifically prepared, refined and extensively tested to ensure that it is the most effective hair purification kit available. I’m telling you that is crap. And 41% of the people who reviewed it on Amazon agree with me, giving only one star.

  1. Magnum Detox Hair Purifying Shampoo

I will admit I have never tried this detox shampoo, and I don’t know anyone who has. But I do know the brand Magnum has a generally terrible reputation. They haven’t updated their formulas for their synthetic urine and detox drinks for a decade, but they are still pushing them.

So with that sort of reputation for not keeping up with detection techniques, I can’t imagine their detox shampoo is any great shakes either.

Just to reinforce my point, it costs just $14 on Walmart and even less on Amazon. I wouldn’t touch any crap at that price. It’s just normal shampoo! A decent detox shampoo is going to be costing you well over $50 in most cases.

  1. Total Stealth Shampoo

Again, I personally haven’t tried this product. And I don’t think I really need to.

I did do a test on their detox drink a while back, and I failed a home urine drug test after following the instructions.

There is no real information on this product available online, it’s unclear exactly how you use it, and reviews on Amazon and Walmart are incredibly mixed.

It’s $19.99 on the Walmart site, which in itself tells its own story. And it’s even cheaper at $14.89 on Amazon.

The two proper reviews is I can see on Amazon for this detox shampoo are both one-star reviews, and describe it as “crap” and “waste of money”.  Again, I think that tells its own story.

What Can You Use To Pass A Hair Drug Test?

I did mention earlier about two methods that can work to read your hair of toxins so that you can pass a hair drug test. Both of these methods have a good track record, and both will give you an and chance of passing a hair drug test.

The first is called the Macujo method and the second is called the Jerry G method. For me, the Macujo method is the most effective and likely to get your hair clean.

The Macujo method uses the first shampoo that I mentioned, which you can buy from Walmart, Zydot Ultra Clean. It’s a good quality detox shampoo, and that’s why it’s part of the method. On its own, it won’t work and that’s important to remember.

The Macujo method needs:

This is an expensive method, which will set you back quite a bit of money (over 200$). But it really does work. You can read the step by step instructions here. If you are serious about trying to get through a hair drug test, then please stop wasting your time looking at the Walmart website for $20 shampoo that is going to do it for you.

If you are in the position you need to pass a drug test, then using the combination of ingredients to complete the Macujo method is the only surefire way that exists.

The other option is the Jerry G Method the problem with it is that it really does it strip your hair and damage it.

The method also requires the use of ammonia on your hair. So it really is a last resort method, which you should use only if you are going for a hair drug test for something important and you can’t afford to pay 235$ for the Aloe Rid& Zydot Ultra Clean Combo.

If you are going for a 16 hour week part-time job on minimum wage, then I really wouldn’t spend the money and the time, and take the risk with your hair, and would just put it off, reapply and get yourself clean.

But generally, looking at Walmart for a detox shampoo is pointless. Other than using Zydot Ultra Clean as part of the Macujo method, you will simply be chucking money down the drain.

Walmart is a great general retailer, but if you are looking for serious detox products then you are going to have to use specialist retailers you know what they are doing and selling.
