If you are using the new SmartDriver, version 3.0 with the Microsoft Sidewinder_TM you must have a USB port.

SmartDriver is available in two versions, one for professionals (schools, health care providers, clinics, etc.) and the other for home use.

 The professional version allows the user to register an unlimited number of users at one computer. The home version may not be purchased by professionals.

The home version lease is limited to one unless additional users are added to purchase package. Users can not be deleted. Home users can purchase the professional version for unlimited family use.

The SmartDriver demo allows you five uses before you are required to register. If you like the demo CD and decide to order the program a code to unlock the full use of the software will be given.
